Amon RWASAMANZI is currently serving as Malaria SBCC Coordinator at Rwanda Development Organization (RDO).

Professional affiliations: Member of RNS (Rwanda Nutrition Society). Amon Rwasamanzi, is a registered Nutritionist & Dietetics he holds a BSc degree in Human Nutrition and Dietetics acquired from the University of Rwanda, College of medicine & Health sciences and as well as with master’s degree in public Health (Global health option) from Mount Kenya University. He is currently serving as Malaria SBCC Coordinator at Rwanda development organization. Prior to that, he worked as provincial Nutrition and gender at RDO. He holds a profound experience in implementing community nutrition specific and sensitive interventions particularly in remote areas of Rwanda. Currently, his research is focused on factors associated with anemia among children aged 6-23 months in Rwanda. His mission is to re-shape the nutritional habits and behaviors of our next generations to optimize their long-term health and reduce the likelihood of malnutrition and non-communicable diseases.
