Raphael RURANGWA is the board member of Rwanda Development Organization (RDO).

Raphael RURANGWA has a remarkable experience in the agriculture domain that made him among key pillar analysts of national and regional agriculture development policies. His career spans 31 years in agriculture and rural development working in both public and private sectors. He has worked as consultant for multilateral agencies such as Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), United States Agency for International Development (USAID), United Nations Development Program (UNDP) and International Fund for Agriculture Development (IFAD) among others in the areas related to agricultural and rural development as well as designing policy instruments for the development of that sector and mechanisms to strengthen institutions financing for agricultural science and technology. He has also held public positions as Director General of Planning and Policy development in the Ministry of Agriculture and Animal Resources for 5 years and Project Coordinator of various government projects.
